KFC
Fried chicken is always associated with southerners. I would agree, being from the south I grew up with a intense love for good fried chicken. I would fight over the chicken legs just as hard as any southerner. My opinion of KFC has always been somewhat distainful and my thaughts were validated last night when i tried their coleslaw. It was horrendous. Absolutely revolting and vile. It tasted nothing like the real thing. If you want southern style cooking do not DO NOT go to KFC.
Military State?
I was contemplating my ponderings today and my thaughts drifted towards libya. Why would a president who came into office with the obvious discontent towards the somewhat stable efforts in Iraq condone in military action in a situation that is on its head? It may be that a fair amount of pressure from the high ranking military officials was put on the president. I may just be another conspiricy theorist, but here's some food for the thaught.....

Bacon
Have you ever woken up in the morning and poured yourself a bowl of cereal to find you are out of milk? You have that sinking feeling that you are going to go without food this morning or have to eat raison bran dry. Or at least I did this morning untill I went back to the fridge to see a beutiful, shining, unopened pack of bacon. Bacon was the life savor this morning with its amazing smells wafting through the air tantalizing me with each snap of the hot grease. I waited in anticipation of the first delicious bite of the worlds most succulent meat. With the weather as crummy as it was, Bacon was the perfect pick-me-up. That and an extra large cup of hot joe.
